Energy Efficiency Funding
To assist qualified small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the West Midlands region, including Warwickshire, in lowering their energy expenses and carbon emissions, the Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) offers free energy audits and match-funded capital grants. The program, which is funded by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) of the UK Government, provides professional guidance on energy efficiency and encourages investments in things like insulation or energy-efficient lighting.
Small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the West Midlands can receive free energy assessments and match-funded incentives under the UK’s Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS) trial program. The program’s goals are to assist companies in cutting carbon emissions, lowering energy expenses, and spurring expansion.
BEAS offers services including free energy audits and match-funded grants for eligible businesses. Eligible projects for grants may involve installing solar panels or upgrading heating systems. The program also provides access to a Green Business Network and events focused on sustainability.
The process involves online registration, a free energy assessment, and a grant application.
